CO-CREATOR of Documentary Film
“Fueling the Energy Transition: Vaca Muerta"
We used primary interviews and meetings with a wide range of corporate managers and industry leaders from within and outside the Techint Group to research and produce a documentary film focused on the equitable transition of energy systems, specifically equity and environmental justice as it relates to climate mitigation, using Vaca Muerta, the second largest shale gas and oil deposit in the world, as a case study.
The film focuses on social and cultural aspects, as well as climate and environmental impacts of Vaca Muerta operations and their balance with technological advances and infrastructure in the region; study includes energy access and equity in the region, related to immediate villages neighboring Vaca Muerta as well as broader communities served across Argentina and South America.
I am motivated to produce short films, as I believe effective and accessible communication of knowledge is essential to divulge scientific discoveries, and to create shared goals and a synergy of intent.”
